There is both a high-energy and low-energy form of Extracorporeal Soft Wave Therapy (ESWT). Our Clinic, Fox Integrated Healthcare, LLC utilizes a state of the Hydro-electric device known as TRT soft wave therapy to introduce Low energy soft waves through a parabolic applicator that allows for amazing results. What to Expect from TRT Softwave Therapy
ESWT is of great benefit to patients because their condition or disorder can be treated extracorporeally or exogenously, meaning from outside the body. ESWT being non-invasive, short 5-10 minute treatment times, no lengthy recovery times, and virtually no known side effects or needed time off from work or lifestyle makes this amazing treatment option great as a stand-alone treatment or adjunctive to other programs of care in our office. The doctor initially maps out the damaged tissue as it resonates more during treatment, which the patient feels like pain.
After mapping or diagnostics are performed which generally lasts less than a minute a treatment session is performed over the next few minutes. This is a walk-in and walk-out treatment that does not require any changes to patients’ daily activities. After the first treatments, your doctor will know recommended treatments based on the patient’s response to care.

The primary downside is that currently this treatment is not covered by insurance, but in-office treatments are very affordable. Secondly, depending on the condition and severity treatments can be somewhat uncomfortable and can increase after treatment for a short time.
Many times patients will experience improvement after their first session. However, most conditions will require 3-6 treatments generally with a frequency of less than one time per week.
The cost of sessions can range from $100 dollars to $300 per session. In-office financing is available.
